Coronavirus (Covid-19): CHAT Update (November 2020)
We’re working hard to continue serving the Mid Devon Community. However we have had to make some changes to how we do that in light of the coronavirus and the government advice. These changes are all to help keep everyone safe.
We’ve had to make the hard decision to close the reception area for the time being. This means you cannot drop in for an enquiry and we are not able to offer showers, or do washing, or sadly offer a coffee and a chat.
Any advice sessions will be done over the phone.
If you are dropping off donations for the foodbank – thank you. Please ring the doorbell at our drop off point and we will move it into the foodbank.
If you would like to see our latest shortages please follow our Facebook page or see here for more information
Please do not drop in to collect food. If you need food you can call us on 01884 255606 between 10:00 – 12:00 Monday – Friday and we will do an assessment over the phone. As part of your assessment we will see if there is anything else we can do to help you.
We are not accepting referrals from outside agencies.
We are not able to offer a delivery service (but we have some volunteers we can ask if there is no other way) so please come and pickup the food yourself, or let us know that someone else will be picking it up on your behalf. The time slot will be arranged when you call and you must stick to the time slot or we may not be able to give the food to you. This is to keep everyone as safe as possible. See here for more information about our foodbank and the help it can offer
